I am glad to have this opportunity to make comment. We have been staying at this Hotel for about 4 years when we visit my daughter at the weekends. Mostly we have been happy with the room allocated to us but there have been instances when we have not been that comfortable but as we only stay for 1 night have made no comments. However, on the weekend of 16/17 April my son and his partner stayed at the hotel with us. During our return journey home they complained the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been and there was a "hair" ball in the shower which they had to remove. Also the bed was very uncomfortablHad I known I would have made these remarks at the time but am now taking this opportunity to inform you. The room was in th3 name of Matthew Collyer so you will be able to locate the room he was allocated and perhaps ask the Hotel to look into the above remarks.

    Good

    Helpful staff

narrow corridors; unsightly grouting in bathroom, archaic lift

    Superb

good for a business trip. staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable and quiet with free wi fi

only a small thing but a better quality of coffee ( cappuchino/latte) at breakfast would have really improved the breakfast for me.

    Good

Staff on reception on arrival were friendly and very helpful even offering to carry bags to rooms nice touch. Hotel gardens are lovely plenty of places to sit and relax weather permitting. Rooms were clean with tea/coffee making facilities.

Have to say that the double bed in room 302 was very uncomfatable i think the mattress has seen bettter days.

Good location and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was substantial and had a great choice.

    Nothing.

    Nothing

The room was no bigger than a box room in an attic. My wife and I both managed to bang our heads on the sloping ceiling. The room was also cold and located in what can only be described as an army barrack room. The room looked nothing like the website pictures and if it had we would never have booked it. Breakfast was supposed to be buffet style as advertised. What actually happened was that it was served on plate and most of it had been cooked long before we had got up. Half of the food was solid and unedable. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel - well priced. 15 minutes from Twickenham for the rugby.

    Fabulous

The staff were very efficient and friendly - the best part of the experience - breakfast was very good

    Good

We have used the hotel previously as it offers reasonably priced accommodation within easy reach of the Thames Path. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The area is quiet. The breakfast is buffet style and good. There is plenty of free parking where we could leave the car and walk 10 minutes into Kingston. From there, buses and trains provide regular access to the rest of London.

If you want somewhere where there is a lot going on, this hotel is a bit off the beaten track. There is a bar, and a pub down the road. Kingston restaurants are 15 minutes walk into town.

The best thing was the front desk gal, Barbara - she could smile and made like you were the customer and you were welcome.

The personnel were, I would say, 90% from Eastern Europe and had absolutely no idea of the meaning of service. Having travelled extensively in East Europe for many years, how could they know. These folks are not really suited for hotel/service work, in my experience. The breakfast was really poor. Always had to ask for something or other, e.g no eggs left or no spoons, orange juice container empty. Toaster did not work very well and one morning, not at all. Coffee was warm at best and even the tea was pretty bad probably because it was not made with boiling water. The old guy in the bar would be, I think, better suited to a job in the morgue than in the bar of a hotel. Miserable - no personality at all.

The lady at reception was friendly and helpful.

The hotel looks a bit tired. Breakfast staff not very service-conscious.

    Very good

The hotel is well secured, staff are very friendly and professional, it is clean and orderly. The wifi was fantastic. Breakfast was also good.

The toilets and bathroom were very small. There were no sports channels on tv hence could not enjoy my favourite sport football.
